weekend winsome: fall favorites

  pumpkin spice lattes

pretty fall hats

As much as I love the pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks I really wanted to save a little money and calories by making my own. They turned out amazing, loved this vegan recipe!  Luke has been working a lot so we haven't had a chance to visit the pumpkin patch yet and I hoping to find some time to go next week.  It's one of our favorite fall traditions, we go every year!  I'm loving the pretty fall leaves everywhere. We walked to the chili cook off on main street and there were tons all over the sidewalks..they have such a satisfying crunch haha.  Crisp air+crunchy leaves+ chili=perfection.
My bangs are in that awkward too long stage..not sure what I want to do with them yet. I always get stir crazy when the seasons change and start trying to change my hair style/color!

my favorite fall/winter boots, super worn and beat up

Love this olive/cream houndstooth coat, I've had it forever!

We tried to do some sleeping in..Copper always wakes us up too early!

I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend!

That houndstooth coat looks fantastic. I love it against the floral.

My bangs (or fringe as i'm australian) are at the same stage. So awkward. I have mine pinned up at the moment because they just won't sit straight. But yours look gorgeous. I need the secret.

Looks like you had a lovely weekend! I too experimented with some pumpkin recipes over the last few days. Somehow things taste so much better when you make them. Perhaps becausey ou know the love and care that went into the item. :)

Ooh I've never tried a pumpkin spiced latte, though I will definately have to try one sometime! :) And I seriously wish we had pumpkin patches in the UK because they look like so much fun!
