midweek menagerie

a collection of thoughts and things from my week..

Leopard! I've been working on the house and painting this week so I've been living in crummy t-shirts and sweatpants.. it was nice to dress up a bit for dinner out with Luke.

I thrifted some vintage frames for our bedroom and used some random bits of vintage trim to "mat" the prints, love them!

 prints from alice b.gardens

Since we had a ton of apples from the orchard I've been trying to make recipes to use them up. I'm running out of ideas..and a love for apples haha
chicken salad with apples,celery,and almonds

with butternut soup, a perfect dinner to share

caramelized apple tarte tatin served on a sweet vintage mustard colored food tray

After the perfect weather we were having it's back to the hot 80's,ugh.. it feels like summer. I can't wait for the weather to cool off again, it's supposed to be fall!

Zizi loves the warm windows

I hope everyone is having a great week!

You look just darling! I love anything leopard print so this is one of my favorite outfits. The polkadot tights are so cute too. I love all your cooking and DIY pictures too. I need to get my booty in gear and start spending more time in the kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!

I really love the leopard dress with the dotted tights! I don't know if I would have thought to put the two together, but they're lovely together!

I love your style! Each new outfit photo is my favorite. I also recently made chili and cornbread but I think I'll use your recipes next time. :)
