John Frieda Precision Foam Hair Colour Collection

Katie Holmes in- "The Decision"

Let me start off by saying that I've tried nearly every brand of at home hair color available and I've never had better results! I'm super impressed with the quality and coverage of this product. I have longish hair(past shoulders) and I'm usually left with barely enough dye..who wants to buy 2 boxes?! With this I had plenty of color with enough to spare and the easy to use foam saturated every strand. It smells great and non-chemically and didn't burn the s*** out of my scalp..always a plus!

My roots had grown in a bit and the last color I used had left my naturally medium brown hair with a horrid reddish/too golden root area and too dark ends, I hate when that happens! This filled in the patchy color areas and left me with a gorgeous dark chocolate brown shade that was uniform from root to more uneven color! With most dyes when I first rinse I have that super dry, stripped feeling that I hate. My hair felt healthier this time and it was super silky after using the enclosed conditioner. I'm really loving the new foam technology and I'm not gonna lie, I felt kind of hardcore using the black pro coloring gloves! This is my new favorite hair color product and I don't plan on using anything else..LOVE!

My color

Bonus- I bought this at Walgreens and for some reason this shade was on sale for only 3.25, I had a 2.00 man. coupon and received a 2.00 register reward for my next purchase...score!

A Princess Bride

Kate Middleton looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day! Evoking memories of Grace Kelly and Princess Diana, her gown was the perfect blend of timeless vintage glamour and modern sophistication. I love the understated hair and makeup paired with the super glam Cartier tiara! The lovely lace sleeves and silk tulle veil give it a traditional feel while the super long train and deep v neck create a stunning look fit for a modern day princess!

Does anyone else have a small crush on William?? I remember being in love with him when I was younger,
he's a Prince!

It's been raining non-stop for the past few days but I love falling asleep to the sound of rain. Everything looks lush, green, and alive and the air smells so fresh. Luke and I went to a friends wedding at a gorgeous winery this Saturday and I discovered my new favorite sweet wine, Elderberry! I'm working on perfecting my quiche and for brunch today I created a tasty "caprese" version with fresh basil, tomatoes, mozzarella, and shallots..yum! As we were leaving for dinner at my Mom's I realized we were wearing semi-matching oxfords, his are a vintage find and mine just came in from them. Being stuck inside gave us a chance to work on the house a bit, I've been working on the dining room and trying to decide on the wall/accent colors. We recently scored some amazing white glass/antique gold vintage lights from an old church that we are rehabbing to use in our main hallway..they are so unique, and HEAVY!

zizi and copper had a lazy weekend

Our friend's wedding was so much fun!
I wore my favorite navy blazer from h&m,a pleated black crepe dress, and the most comfortable black suede wedges from urban outfitters..perfect for dancing.  It started to rain during the ceremony(eek!) and my naturally curly hair turned into a slight frizz monster..the birdcage veil and feather headpiece I created for the bride looked amazing though!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
