Sunday morning was perfectly misty, I just love how dreamy it makes the world look. Luke and I woke up early and took our coffee to the local wooded park for a stroll.  It was prime weather for my favorite thrifted find as of late, a gorgeous 60's coat!

I just love the sleeves and 70's feel to this dress!

I've been loving natural mineral stone/geode necklaces lately..

Ball of Fire 1941



This screwball comedy showcases Barbara Stanwyck's quick wit and sharp tongue. She plays Sugarpuss O'Shea, a nightclub performer who catches the mind of naive linguistics professor while he's researching slang terms. 

I love old fashioned slang and this movie is full of it! I don't know how much of it was really used back then but whatever Sugarpuss slings is believable..Scrim! Scram! Scraw!

Listening to Fleet Foxes(and The Doors) makes me want to take another springtime cross country road trip to Oregon. The perfect music for when you're cooped up inside this winter looking through vacation photos and dreaming of the ocean...oh wanderlust.

When we finally reached Cannon beach after almost 40 hrs non-stop we were driving up the ocean road to our hotel and there were bunnies on the little streets and yards around the beach houses..little domestic looking rabbits.tons of them. in all different colors! It was pure craziness and kind of blew my mind..is this real life?! One of my favorite memories(and trips!) ever.

My weekend was spent with sparklers,sushi, drinks, and dancing in St.Louis! It feels like I haven't been out in forever and it was great to catch up with friends and ring in the new year.
