   Beauty and the Beast-1946

I adore fairy tales and the story of Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites. This french film is hauntingly beautiful and so magical, the best version ever made! It's directed by poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau and stars the stunning Josette Day as Belle and Jean Marais as Avenant/the beast.

    Hope your back feels better! Love fairtales too and I've never seen that version of Beauty and the Best. Will have to watch it based on your recommendations.
